We hosted the summer social at the Eagle and Ball pub, as part of the Birmingham Design Festival.

For our April meetup we enjoyed a night of Jazz at Pan-Pan.

Wednesday 3rd December 2025 For our Christmas meetup we hosted an illustration-themed pub quiz at The Victoria.

1st October 2025, 7pm, Pan-Pan For our autumn social we were thrilled to welcome local illustrator Maz Leyden to Picnic. Maz shared insights about her illustration work and her career so far.

On Sunday 31st August 2025, we hosted a ‘Walk n’ Draw’ event where we led a guided stroll through Birmingham, sketching out some of the Cities most iconic buildings and landmarks.

On Thursday 12th June 2025 we met at the Eagle and Ball pub for a relaxed social and a game of human bingo.

Wednesday 2nd April 2025 – 7pm We hosted an evening of relaxed still life drawing at Pan-Pan in Digbeth.

Tuesday 11th February 2025 – 7pm Kindly hosted by Pan-Pan in Digbeth, our first social event of 2025 was a Show and Tell. Illustrators from around Birmingham gathered for a friendly chat and to show their latest work.

Wednesday 4th December 2024 For our Christmas social event in 2024 we joined forces with Birmingham Design, Overlap, Fuse and Reel Brum at the Hockley Social Club to see out the year in style.

24th September 2024 For our September 2024 social we collaborated with our friends Stourbridge Life Drawing to run a fun life drawing event. The evening was kindly hosted by Pan-Pan.
